Forums Macs PowerPC Macs. GameCube Emulator on PowerPC? I was doing some Googling on a GameCube emulator for use on PowerPC Macs. Most of the threads I came to were people wondering about the CPU similarities rather than an emulator itself. Limbo 2.11.0 PowerPC Emulator for armv7 devices. Limbo 2.11.0 PowerPC Emulator for x86 devices. * For Phones and Tablets with Intel x86 cpu (ie Zenfone 2, Yoga Tablet 2, etc) * VNC and SDL graphical user Interface * Minimum Requirements: Android OS 4.2+.
I'm not really into coding, but I've been on the emulators scene for a while now. Having delved a bit into Amiga emulation lately, I noticed that FS-UAE's PPC emulation (and in turn WinUAE's as well) comes from QEmu. Dolphin (Wii/Gamecube Emu) also emulates a PPC Cpu and has 32-bit and 64-bit JIT (which works quite nicely if I must add), so I was wondering if the PPC emulation wouldn't be faster if the core from Dolphin was used instead.
If I'm talking gibberish, I'm sorry, as I've said, not much of a coder.
